North Main Street Resurfacing Project Begins Soon

The North Main Street Resurfacing Project in Wheaton is scheduled to begin the week of July 22. Prior to resurfacing, crews will be replacing sidewalks at intersections on North Main Street between Seminary Avenue and Cole Avenue.  The entire project is expected to be complete by late September, depending on weather conditions.

Electronic message boards are in place, advising motorists of the work.

The North Main Street Resurfacing Project is being funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation with contractor R.W. Dunteman Company performing the work. For questions or more information, please contact City of Wheaton Engineer Sarang Lagvankar at 630-260-2067.
