Jobs Driven Networking Group
Join us every 3rd Thursday at the Mason's building downtown Wheaton (120 W. Wesley) to learn advanced networking tactics, while Job Seekers find leads, Job Givers (employers) share jobs, and everyone builds their network for current, and future career advancement.
This monthly networking group is free to attend, and relevant for people from all industries and job types.
Each presenter will close each meeting with an exercise for the attendees to use with each other after leaving to help strengthen their networks. This is a very real opportunity to build a trusted network in your community!

Immediately after our meeting we will be taking digital headshots for job seekers with professional lighting, a backdrop, camera, and a Photoshop expert to produce quality images. For a donation of $40 to Wheaton Lodge 269 (cash only), you will get a headshot for LinkedIn, and a template to use it for Vistaprint Business Cards.
Pictures will be from 1pm to 2pm, so please indicate if you want a headshot when you RSVP. Thank you!

Presenters: Paul Cameron, President of DriveStaff and Founder of SpeedUpMyJobSearch.com At our November meeting, we dove deeply into what job seekers want from Networking Training, and what’s available. In December, using this feedback, Paul will present the structure developed to address these needs and solicit feedback from the attendees on the new program. Everyone attending the event in person will get free access to the new course to provide feedback. The last two weeks of the year are often a slower period for job seekers, which presents a perfect time to learn and improve skills. Our attendees in December will have that opportunity. Paul has already created an advanced networking course for live events covering strategic preparation tactics, how to maximize time while there, how to start & exit conversations, and how to automate follow up after events. Now he’s looking to create a course on daily, proactive networking which will specifically cover where to get names, how to approach them, how to build more names to grow the network, and how to maintain the network. This will be the next iteration of this already comprehensive course.
