Jobs Driven Networking Group
Join us every 3rd Thursday at the Mason's building downtown Wheaton (120 W. Wesley) to learn advanced networking tactics, while Job Seekers find leads, Job Givers (employers) share jobs, and everyone builds their network for current, and future career advancement.
This monthly networking group is free to attend, and relevant for people from all industries and job types.
Each presenter will close each meeting with an exercise for the attendees to use with each other after leaving to help strengthen their networks. This is a very real opportunity to build a trusted network in your community!

Immediately after our meeting we will be taking digital headshots for job seekers with professional lighting, a backdrop, camera, and a Photoshop expert to produce quality images. For a donation of $40 to Wheaton Lodge 269 (cash only), you will get a headshot for LinkedIn, and a template to use it for Vistaprint Business Cards.
Pictures will be from 1pm to 2pm, so please indicate if you want a headshot when you RSVP. Thank you!

They will discuss different places to post a digital portfolio, what should be on it, and what shouldn't be on it. They will also talk about professional blogs and other resources to create a following. This will be an open discussion format so you can ask questions, offer suggestions about what you've seen to be successful for others, and it will create opportunities for you to strengthen your network as you work with other attendees to identify and develop strategies to showcase individual skills and experiences.
