Event Description
It’s book sale season! The ever-popular Friends of the Wheaton Public Library annual book sale returns August 23 featuring 20,000+ adult books and a separate children’s sale with thousands of books, movies, and more – all at super bargain prices. All proceeds benefit library programs.
The sale is open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24; and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26. Reduced prices on Friday and $5 buys a whole bag of books on Saturday. A Preview Sale for Friends Members only will be from 5 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 22. Help the Friends publicize the sale by picking up a yard sign at the library.
A Media Sale featuring adult DVDs, CDs, LPs, VHS tapes, audiobooks and more is scheduled for September 21-24. Donations of books and media are being accepted now for the sales. For more information, visit the Wheaton Public Library’s website or email us.
