This year celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Cantigny, the first major U.S. offensive victory of WWI. The Battle of Cantigny was a defining moment in the life of local resident and iconic publisher of the Chicago Tribune, Colonel Robert R. McCormick. Jeffrey Anderson, Interpretation Manager at the Robert R. McCormick House located at Cantigny Park will share insights into the Colonel’s military service and its lasting impact on his life and legacy.
